| If you have a clothesline, how often do you use it to dry your laundry on?
We have one and we use it most of the summer (of course the clothes still have to be put in the dryer briefly or they get stiff) and just about any time that it's warm enough the stuff could actually dry out. But still our dryer sees use almost every day.

| I want to get one of those portable ones that I can use outside or in the basement. Our dryer is getting bad in the efficiency department. Currently, I hang sweatshirts and jeans on the swing outside. | |

| I have a folding wooden clothes dryer but most everything goes in the laundry room dryer. | |

| I haven't seen a clothes line since the days of my grandmothers house....back when I was a kid. No one I know has one today. I'd opt for the dryer though. As I recall, drying clothes outdoors left them wrinkled and hard, and sometimes not all the way dry. | |

That's odd, they're all over here, of course it's not like what people think of when they hear clothes line, long line and pulley system, ours is more the 20 lines or so in a square metal frame, but it still works.

| We've never had a clothes line, from what I can remember, not even at my grandmas house. If we didn't have a washer/dryer at home, we always went to the laundromat. | |

| I don't have a clothes line but I hang stuff outside on my fence to dry. I like washing the sheets and blankets and hanging them outside and when they are dry, what a nice scent they carry into the house. Sometimes I dry shirts and tee shirts and shorts too.
In case your wondering I have a vinyl fence and no one can see whats hanging there LOL.

| Yeah, my grandmother and my aunts used to have clothes lines. I think they're only good for the spring and summer. I prefer the dryer | |
