| If you carve Jack O Lanterns, do you ever save the seeds and roast them or buy the heavily salted, pre- packaged kind? Last couple of years I've remembered to save the guts to snack on. Or are sunflower seeds more to your liking. Even if you don't play baseball. | |

| Once with some earth mothers in a commune, who actually made pie out of a fresh pumpkin, we roasted the seeds.
Haven't done it since. However, brings back memories of my childhood when they were readily available at the corner store. | |

| I never save them from the pumpkin but I have bought the salted ones. Haven't had them in a very long time. | |

| I got a bag of them once, they were better than sunflower seeds, but either way, my mother firmly believes when you swallow them the little pieces will build up in your color and jab at your gallbladder like shrimp tails, I don't know if she's right but it does sound possible. | |

| I think I've tried roasting our own pumpkin seeds from the carvings, which didn't come out too bad, but I prefer just to buy the prepackaged kind. I like sunflower seeds too. But neither are my first choice, I'd rather buy  if I'm gonna suck, chew, and spit anything out. | |
