If someone offered you a job, complete with training, what job would it be? This is the job you always wanted, no matter how unrealistic you might think it is.

Cosmetology or Culinary... if training was included than it'd be either one of these two.

Re: What is your ideal job?
Actually, what I have been doing for the past decade was really rewarding until some asshole executive showed up and made worklife miserable for me.
I was an Office Manager, who used his writing/typing skills to make reports and forms, tables and other daily necessities of running an office. It was sometimes challenging, where I used innovation and initiative and I really enjoyed going to work.
Now I am unappreciated, untrusted by this jerk of a director and demoralized. Hate to come to work, have no desire to do 'above-and-beyond' like I did for the first 7 years here and if the economy had not tanked I would be so outta here. But, this is the only job available so I am stuck.

I think having a business of my own would make me happier. I would love to run my own bed and breakfast in a country setting or perhaps own an Italian restaurant where the people would come back often cause the food is go good

I like what I do now for the most part but it isn't perfect. I don't know what the perfect job for me would be. Maybe an athletic trainer.

Re: What is your ideal job?
I've fantasized about running my own blues music station and being in total charge of the music selected and the program. But I have some speech problems and doing the announcing would not be my thing.
My own job would be pretty ideal if I could cut the hours to half-time.
