Obviously there isn't any definitive way to be happy, but if you were giving advice to someone about little things to do to make your days a little bit better, what would you say?

Accept the reality of any given situation; if it's unacceptable, then change it. But acceptance has to come first.

I think sometimes you have to be willing to allow yourself to be at the top of the list once in a while. Not self absorbed but do things YOU like & buy a few of those little things you want. If you're the type to always "do" for other people especially if you don't get "back" often, it takes away some of the resentment you may feel now & then. You have to allow yourself to be important too.

Do what you want so you won't regret not trying something. It is easier to regret what you did do, than what you wanted to do but never did. Too often people don't do what they want because of other people... ex. I want to go to france but hubby wont fly. That guy might not be your hubby in 5yrs, so go and enjoy life.... if he doesnt want to go, that is on him. And if he cared about you, he would want you to
