Say your child's best friend is a member of the opposite sex, would you allow them to have sleepovers with them the same way you would if they were the same sex?

Depends on the age and who the kid and his or her parents were. If they came from a responsible family and were still relatively young, I might consider it. But past 10/11, probably not.

A small child, yes. Older than, say, 9. . . wouldn't like it. And some of that would depend on the other child's parents (how well I trusted them).

I didn't go to my first one until I was 9, I remember because I started wearing a bra at that age and my mom had a talk with me before I went, nothing I didn't already know. big grin
