    L.A. (duh) crime drama set in the mid 1950's. Pretty good movie but I'll never understand why Kim basinger won the Oscar.

    I rented it from the video store once, but it barely kept my attention. I forgot all about Kim winning the Oscar for it.

    When we saw Dark Shadows they showed a trailer for one called Gangster Squad that looked familiar. I'm wondering if the bad guys in LA Confidential are the good guys in Gangster Squad.
