1st day of kindergarten: Quite well. Made my first black friend, who was enamored at how "small and frilly" I was. Got scolded for wolfing down my mid-morning snack before the class said grace. Fell in love with a freckle-faced redheaded boy named Alfred and ran home to tell Mom all about it.

I remember my first day of high school, because I read the schedule wrong and went to the wrong classroom. About fifteen minutes later, it dawned on me that I wasn't where I was supposed to be. I don't remember my first day of college, because I lived in the dorm and had been there a week or so before classes officially started, so that's all a blur.

Preschool/Kindergarten? Ha HA! nope!
First day of high school is somewhat of a blur, can't tell you much about it, same with junior high.
Only college course I took, I remember first day, it was cool, a very good friend of mine was taking the same class.

Kindergarten thru H.S. is a general blur but some things still stand out. I do remember my first day of college which is a miracle considering all the drugs I did that day.

My first day of kindergarten was over 60 years ago - don't remember it, tho I do have snippets of play in kindergarten.
Likewise don't remember my first days of HS - tho my time there has some vivid memories.
Never went to college but I DO remember my first day in the US Air Force, Lackland AF Base San Antonio TX. How could I forget the trauma of that loud mouthed TI shouting us into a formation of scared kids who regretted their moment of bravado to join up. Had two months of hazing called Basic Training.

Yep. Kindergarten, I remember being one of the very few kids that didn't cry. We were getting ready to walk up to the class, my mother had just dropped me off, and I remember seeing this little boy just crying his eyes out and I was looking at him thinking "damn, it's not like she's not coming back". We got our assigned seats and I remember making macaroni collages that day. Kindergarten's teacher name was Mrs. Lee. She was about 85 yrs old and still teaching, but I liked her. First day of high school, my cousin was a senior and I was a freshman and I was hanging out with her and her friends the whole day and we even had the same lunch period. First day of college, was cool too. My classes ended at 12:30.
