Only a couple of weeks with the worse upper respiratory illness.
Took a couple years to get my leg right after breaking it, but was active during that time.

I guess if you count having cancer as being ill, then I probably was "ill" for about 7 months while in treatment for it.

I think it was last year I was sick from December until March with a nasty upper respiratory that just would not go away. It would subside and then come back and the cough from it was the worst!
I still feel the effects from my broken ankle and its over a year now.

We had the swine flu a couple years back and it lasted about a month I think. Before that there was one time my brother and I had the flu and it took us about 2 months to fully get over it.

A basic head cold can linger for more than a week but I'm not bedridden.

Knocked out on my butt for 6 wks with dbl-pneumonia back in '82. That was considerably longer than recovery time from my heart-bypass.

Respiratory issues. I'm feeling about 90-95% well though. I think the nastiest part is behind me.
