I think I can predict the answers but do you think it would be impossible for you to remarry someone after you divorced? I heard a comedian say something along the lines that it was like expecting spoiled milk to turn good.

Ha! I like the comedian's line.

Well, I can't see it happening to me, because I'm one of those who turns the page and keeps going. Once I'm out of relationships I don't even want to be friends, don't even want to see him. Not the best attitude, it's just how I am.

I guess it could happen but if you divorced in the first place, what would be the point?

Had my guy and I ever had the poor sense to get married, I could see that being us. We have lived apart more than once in our time together.

My wife and I got divorced but did so amicably. Walked hand in hand to the courthouse.

We had been together for 18 years, married 15. We visited and had sex a couple times after the divorce and I never considered having another wife. Wore my wedding band for about a year after. There are certain comforts you acquire living so long with another person that you may never really separate. If she had not died it is possible that we would have gotten back together.

It would be possible, I imagine, but practically I'd hesitate. We'd have to date and seek long term couples counseling before I'd entertain the idea of remarrying someone I was divorced from.
