I haven't seen sunshine in 4 days. We are under a Tropical system and it has been overcast to raining since Friday - with no let up until Wednesday.

You guys up North may experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) more than we do down here. Stats have us in South Florida at about 1% and latitude around New Hampshire at 9%.

It isn't often that we don't see sunshine down here. Even on normal cloudy days we get a few rays as the sun sets and streams under the clouds from the West. I am getting tired of this constant rain and no sun.

Times like this make you appreciate your blue skies, doesn't it, Shale?

I have a friend in Sacramento, CA, who complains about the summer heat, but spring and fall gives him appreciation and is glad he doesn't live in the Northwest.

The weather here is my sole biggest challenge. And why am I still here? 'Cuz I married an Oregonian!

Oh, yes, you guys in the NorthWest coast must have it bad. Unless you are the Cullens and like constant cloudcover.

I knew of a nudist group in your part who called themselves SLUGS - Sunlovers Under Grey Skies.

Good one. They probably hung out at Sauvie Island's clothing optional section.

Nope - another drizzly, overcast day.

The cold front gets here by Thursday but tonight & tomorrow storms. In fact there are tornado warnings in the county right now.

Well, hang in there! At least you aren't facing snow. I just thought of you ten minutes ago helping my son with his Spanish homework. He had to correct a sentence that was "El es de Miami."

I guess that is correct to say "He is from Miami"

I really don't know much Spanish, just enuf to travel thru Centro America.

We have just gone thru our sixth day of clouds and constant rain. It seems to be clearing so maybe tomorrow I will see the sun again.

For the first time in a week, a beautiful sunrise over mostly blue skies and 67 degrees.

The front finally cleared out that tropical wet weather that had been hanging over S. Florida.

Pics from Key West showed rivers where the streets used to be, but it is receding as well.

Blue Skies Smilin' at Me, Nothing but Blue Skies do I see.

    OK, I won't sing.

LOL How would you like to have weeks without sunshine and rain every day or every other day. We had rain all day and all night yesterday. The sun is shining nice and bright today, think I will get out and enjoy it big grin
