I seen both, original is FAR BETTER!! Don't know why they felt the need to remake it.

Original and its sequel scared the HELL out of me when I was younger, still kinda does.

Loved the original... although I thought the zoo scene in the remake was pretty good.

Never seen either, or the sequels, but would sooner see the original. You know, you hear about movies supposedly having curses on them because of what happens to the people in them, Superman, Poltergeist, etc., but read about all the times the people involved in the original narrowly escaped death, like the planes they were on getting hit by lightning, and you start to wonder about this one.
