I have the dashiki I was married in from 1983 and a threadbare robe that I made in 1980. Finally gave away my last remaining bell-bottom Levis that somehow survived since the '70s. IDK if I have anything hanging around older than the '80s.
Oh, there is a serape I bought & wore in Centro America in the mid '70s. When was the last time you saw a guy wearing a serape? But it is still in the trunk.
So, yeah - I have clothes older than most ppl on this board.

Some of my shirts are at least 6 years old, I think some are older than that too.

I still have my communion suit I wore at 7 years old when I made communion. I also have some shirts that date back to the late 80's. I give most of my clothes away usually after a year or two.

Yep.
I bet I have some outfits that are at least 15 years old still hanging in the back of my closet that I haven't actually worn since before the turn of the millennium. Why I haven't gotten rid of them yet is anyone's guess.

I was going to say some T-shirts we bought as souvenirs on our honeymoon bought now I remeber I have a pair of shoes I've had for more than 30 years.

I have my prom dress and letter jacket, but they are in a box. In my closet, I think the oldest things I have are blazers over 15 years old, and I purchased them used, so who knows how old they really are?

In my spare closet are two dinosaurs: A 1972 brown woolen poncho with black fringe, and it still looks great. It materialized in the mid-90's after my mother died ~ it'd been kept in the closet. Twice I've been stopped by people asking me where I got it.
The other is an early-70's fringed leather jacket with an applique of the Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers "Tongue" sewn on the sleeve. It doesn't fit but I can't get rid of it.

A sweater that my dad bought for me 14 years ago.....just weeks before he died.

I worked at Bradlees in '93 and I still have some sweaters that I bought during that time. they are in great condition.
unfortunately, i realized the other day that one of my sweaters was older than my sunday night date! LOL just kidding... but they were in a close running for each other
