Early Sunday morning, Mister Anderson was arrested after police say they clocked him driving 118 mph in a drag race with a drunken friend in Ronkokoma. The Post, which has dubbed him "doofus dad," reports that his 7-month-old daughter and 3-year-old son were found in the back seat of his 2001 Honda, and that the boy was not restrained. Anderson, 25, was allegedly "engaging in a speed contest" on the westbound LIE at 2 a.m. Sunday with Darryl Squires, 30, when they were pulled over by a deputy sheriff. Newsday reports that Anderson, who does not have a driver's license, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and engaging in an unlawful speed contest, along with multiple vehicle and traffic charges. His opponent, Squires, was charged with DWI, speeding, and engaging in an unlawful speed contest. | I figured I'd search this out on-line after seeing the story on the evening news today. I think he lives with the kids and their mother so don't be surprised if they stay with her. | |
