Not under my street clothes but when I take my walks in the winter they are part of my layers.

Even when I lived in snow country I never wore them. There is an expression, which I have literally done when it was "two pair of pants cold."

I haven't worn long underwear since I was a child, and I remember hating it back then. Bulky and hot.
