Are you a fan of cooking with Crisco, or do you avoid it?

Only if the recipe calls for it. Not like Alice's meatloaf on the second Brady Bunch movie.

I haven't cooked with Crisco in a long time, but that's the only thing I'll use for fried chicken. (And I haven't cooked fried chicken in ages.)

Only use it for a recipe that requires it. I fry chicken in oil.

I buy it but hardly use it unless it's essential.

Bacon grease makes the BEST fried chicken.

Yes, we use Crisco constantly, had to get one of the double sized cans because we're going to be making a lot of pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving and it makes good crust, also good cakes, good cookies, etc.
