Depressing fall

Has this been a depressing-looking fall for anyone else? I know autumn weather has the tendency to be drab, but it seems like the atmosphere has been very down and out since the middle of September. At least around here.

Here, too. No spring, summer was short and not the greatest, and fall is reminding us that we're too close to winter already. Weatherwise, Nov & Dec are my least favorite months because it is soooooo dark.

I see that you are in Michigan. Is it usually crisp 'n' clear (but cold) in mid-fall?

Most of the leaves are still on the trees here. Fall usually starts for us in November, October has been an unusually warm month.

The leaves are everywhere here. The other day me, my brother & sister spent close to 2 hours racking.

It's just recently started to be on the cool side here and the leaves starting to change. We've still had decent weather. I only get down around Labor Day but bounce back. I've embraced the fall season. Halloween and Thanksgiving are cool. It's winter that can go fuck off.
