Quote :
Aside from making an exceptional failure of a song, Rihanna has managed to get the music video for her single "S&M" banned in 11 countries due to her exhibition of a disgraceful slut-performance, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mirror (don't worry, you'll get to watch it below...perverts). Youtube has gone on to flag the video, censoring it to viewers only 18 and older (like that's going to stop anybody), and the BBC 1 radio refuses to put the track on air until 7:00pm lest an edited version is released.
Now, as I mentioned, I've posted the video below, and before you watch, I will share a pastiche on some of the more obvious obscenities that you are about to view.

At it's very essence, "S&M" is poorly made bubblegum porn, masked in the color pink, and containing your typical risque outfits stylized to make them fashionable rather than reminiscent of the simple costumes of obscure sexual fetishes.

In an attempt to decay her self-image, Rihanna, while gabbling the hook "...sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me...," takes the dress of a strawberry dominatrix who enjoys dumping bubblegum on innocent hog-tied business men, beat them with whips, and parading the defunct mental goiter of media Perez Hilton around like a pathetic hound and letting him piss on pink fire hydrants before she "rides" and (at least how I saw it) "rapes" him.

The company Rihanna keeps in the video is an awkward crowd, one that prefers to wear gag-ball straps, mouth-raping helpless blow-up dolls, as well as preferring to wear leather and be tied up rather than moving and speaking freely amongst their peers. Ropes and chains and beatings aside, after mock press conferences and "artistic" newspaper slideshow projections, the video comes to a close with our deviant diva choking half-way down on an innocent banana in what is obviously a representation of oral coitus, a most fitting ending, in regards to the entirety of the video.

As a whole, I suppose the video isn't "really" pornography in the sense that everyone is taking it; it's a stylized version of that sick fetish sh*t that 40-something parents give a shot at in order to spice up a far-ago failed marriage, the same sexually exploits that everyone who can't get laid is drawn to so that they can find solace amongst similar pity cases and derive some sick sense of pleasure from things most of us would rather be amputated without anesthetic rather than partake in.
Now, when it comes down to my opinion, I really don't give a sh*t about how obscene it is; they could have Rihanna sprawled nude while choking prostitutes and sucking on the trunk of an elephant. The matter is that this isn't art, and isn't necessary; it's a pathetic attempt at jarring the establishment. She knew what she was doing, and some dumbass decided it would be good to front the cash, which surely sits in at least the five-figure cost range, in order to construct said video for the sole purpose of being "artistically misunderstood."

Now, question raised: Rihanna is essentially saying in the song that she likes people beating the sh*t out of her during sex--if this is true, then why was it such a big deal when Chris "The Fist" Brown bruised her up? I sense a wicked twist in the plot...

By the way, in response to all of this, Rihanna released a simple tweet: "U can now view the S&M video on Rihannanow.com UNFLAGGED!!!" Also tweeting, "They watched Umbrella ... I was full nude."
