| Several minutes if I am the first one up in the morning. Ironically, the water heater for the complex is on my end of the building two apartments away. I think the pipe must take it to the other end and back again by the amount of time it takes to get hot here. | |

| This reminds me of one of the worst dorms I stayed in....
To answer the question, less than 15 seconds, the heat is pretty quick and stable.
But that damn dorm....I used to take advantage of the fact that water in the dorms NEVER went cold--I could start the shower, go in the other room and forget, come back an hour later and it would still be the same temperature. But then an underground pipe burst below my window and ever since that incident, my water stayed warm for 7 minutes before it went ice cold. And I knew this because I just happened to be doing a statistics project where I timed the length of my showers. It made things much easier in that respect, but still lol. | |

I turn the shower on and brush my teeth. At the sink. Takes abut a minute and by then the shower water is ready. Could be sooner. | |
