If your car has cruise control and you like to use it, don't if the road is wet. It can cause you to lose control of the car. If you hydroplane, the car will accelerate because the system may interpret the skid-induced reduction in forward speed as a need to apply more engine power.

I'm not surprised but a lot of people don't. I think there should be a warning sticker right next to the one about the air bags.
