No. Hubbard "created" that religion himself. Whether it has merit in its teachings ~ whatever it is, I'm not familiar with it ~ I don't know.

Yeah can't take it too seriously, but I don't take any religion seriously.

once you read about them enough and you get to the part that they believe in alien life forms and gods of other planets etc.... they really start to sound like a crazy cult. however, if this is what they truly believe, then it is their constitutional right to believe it.
what fascinates me is that soooo many hollywood celebrities are involved in it, and i wonder how? and how much money is this church receiving in donations from them??
