Nope. Although I would prob pick a male if I had to choose. Men typically have stronger hands and I like DEEP tissue massages. The rougher the better.

I used to go quite regularly to the massage school in Miami for clinicals, where you could get massages cheaply.
I had more women work on me than men and some of them got so deep it was painful. Most were very relaxing, where I sorta floated out of the building when done. Some even found those knots of muscles on my back by my scapula and got them to relax a bit (with a little 'good' pain).
I wouldn't mind if male or female if they could deliver the right touch.
(now I used to have a professional massage therapist who worked on me at a discount because he enjoyed giving me "full body" massages that went beyond professional. And yes, they were quite relaxing.)

I do get professional massages and am getting one tomorrow at my chiropractor's office. He hires damn good ones. Most have been women and they have the knack. I like deep-tissue massages.
He had one female whose hands had so much strength in them that she hurt! Just a mite rough even for me. She would be great for rolfing.
