One Life to Live: July 2010 Sneak Peek
June 28, 2010 6:14 AM By Joe Reid
This July, the weather isn't the only thing heating up this summer. Llanview's about ready to boil over with some shocking reveals and wild twists due in the coming weeks. For starters: Are Cole and Starr in worse shape than we thought? After drugs and jail and baby-swaps and Todd Manning, the one obstacle that might succeed in driving them apart is James Ford. The aftermath of his and Starr's road trip running for their lives draws them both closer together. Look for Cole to wake up to Hannah's machinations and come back to Starr ... but will he be too late? He might find an unlikely ally in James's brother, who warns James that Starr is trouble he doesn't need. ...Yes, Starr is the troublesome one.
Let's talk about Cole and Hannah, though. If you don't have the first clue what this girl's deal is, get in line. She starts the month on the run with Cole, but Cole is on the verge of wising up to her lies. But what's true and what's not true about Hannah? Ford said she attacked him, but guess what? She didn't. But she knows who did. Buckle up, you guys, because the identity of Ford's attacker -- plus the identity of Marty's attacker; plus the person who killed Kelly's mom -- are all revealed this month. This mystery murderer needs to keep Hannah silent ... and to stay one step ahead of pursuers like John and Kelly and Rex.
Ford -- Robert Ford, now that we have to differentiate between him and brother James -- knows the identity of this mystery attacker too. But this month, he'll be drawn closer into the drama surrounding his own family. The identity of the Ford boys' parents will tie them closer to at least one Llanview resident, if not more. "But what of our favorite couples?" you ask. OK, OK, how's this: there will be not one, not two, but THREE marriage proposals this month. We'll give you a peek at one right now: Eli proposes to Blair! She doesn't give him an answer right away, but look for both Todd and young Jack Manning to react to the proposal with their usual elegance and grace.
And for more couple-y hijinks, you have to see what Viki, Charlie, Dorian, and David have cooked up. Basically, Viki and Charlie are tired of Dorian and David being all up in their marital business. So they devise a scheme that would a French farce filmmaker proud to convince Dorian and David what is painfully obvious: they're still in love with EACH OTHER. If only it were that simple -- this could really blow up in Viki and Charlie's faces.
Jessica and Natalie are looking forward to a long month full of worry and looking guilty. There's still a lot Jess doesn't remember about her night with Ford, and meanwhile, Natalie is being slowly tortured by her hookup with Brody. Look for each sister's secret to collide and take a turn onto "Whoa - this takes sibling drama to a whole new level" lane.
Speaking of diagnoses, Tea's health continues to worsen over the course of the month. Todd commits himself to being there for her every step of the way. But the big development here is that Tea finally tells Danielle about the brain tumor. You're going to see some heartbreaking mother/daughter scenes. But will it bring Danielle closer to Todd?
Cristian and Layla have some hard decisions ahead of them. When they decide to go tell Layla's mom about their engagement..well, we'll just say one word: Evangeline. Big drama there. Okay, we'll tell you something else...Evangeline has a secret that's going to affect someone
All this, plus Bo and Nora settle into (re)married life, Langston still finds herself drawn to Ford, and Markko decides whether or not to fight for Langston ... or leave her forever
