The song probably does fit their voices better than it does Usher's. "OMG" isn't Usher's style at all.

Yeah, "OMG" had to grow on me when I first heard him sing it but now I love that song. I don't think this version is necessarily better...the song is exactly the same and it sounds exactly the same.....it just suits these guys voices better naturally whereas Usher had to tailor his voice to suit the song.

This song is very "pop", which contrasts with Usher's urban voice. These guys have lighter, poppier singing voices and so they fit more in sync with it than Usher does.

I think that's what it is. Usher's voice is too heavy and "dark" for the kind song OMG is. This group of guys have smoother "brighter" sounding voices that better compliment the track.
