If you've seen the Disney movie adaptation of this story...where the movie was confusing the book was anti-climatic, the two are almost nothing alike at all but both are very good. Only in the book, it's not been 30 years that Karen's been missing, it's 50, and her mother is 85 still looking for her 15 year old daughter. Has anyone read this?
