| Same here. Never anything big, though. The most I've won was ten dollars. Played the big number a few times, hoping I'd have beginners luck (I still go to work everyday, so that didn't happen.) | |

| Most I won was $40 on a $5 ticket. Before that, $25 and $20 on $2 tickets. | |

| I bought a ticket once but forgot to watch the drawing. It always ate at me the small possibility that I could've won and totally missed out on claiming the winnings. | |

| I play when the jackpot is high, and only once a week at that. I have done scratchoffs with very little winnings so its not a temptation to me to become a lotto junkie. | |

I have my own numbers and I do quick picks. I DO NOT buy scratch offs. Waste of money. Granted the lottery give you horrible odds to begin with...but you're still better off getting lucky with a quick pick or picking your own numbers than buying a scratch off.
And do your numbers have any meaning? or just random? Phone number, house number, birthdate, kids ages, etc....those are the general numbers that everyone plays. I do that and I just pick random ones. One thing I don't do is play everyday. Which is prob. why I don't win shit. I'll spend about $10, $15 every two weeks or so playing the lottery. | |

Yeah, my aunt was/is the same way. There are so many gamblers in my family and I'm one too, but I gamble on things that I know I would get instant results. Like cards. I won't bet on horses or games or anything like that. Unlike most people though, I have some restraint. | |

| I don't ever play. But I should. I do pretty well on raffles and sports betting. The raffles are always part of my son's sport and we have won at two different times, $1200 pit bikes. And I won $2000 on this year's Super Bowl. And I am not a sports better, I just do it in conjunction with the small town bar that is in my home town, when I visit. But I am always on the Super Bowl pool. This year, it finally paid off. | |

| I almost won $5000 on the Super Bow pool this year. Cash money. Taxmotherfuckingfree. If the scores were reversed, Saints 17 and Colts 31, I would've hit. I....WAS....THOROUGHLY....P-I-S-S-E-D. Oh well, that's my damn luck anyway. | |

| Ny, I was sleeping when the final happened, and the small town bar pool I was part of had the "home" team reversed on the grid, so I thought I missed it...very confusing...till I got the $$. | |
