Do you think that registered sex offenders should be able to have custody of their kids (if they're sexual assault wasn't against them?)

I wouldn't be comfortable with sole custody, but I guess it all depends. If they get custody of their kids, it should be on the condition of CPS making regular visits and evaluations.

If it's someone like a weanie-waver, then maybe. If it's a sex offender of children, definitely NOT!

    co-signs
If it was a child they diddled or tried to then no way should they get custody under any circ. They shouldnt even get visitation. All other situations pondered accordingly.

It depends on the severity of the assault but in general I would say no. The most they should receive is supervised visitation.

It depends on the assault they made in the first place.

It depends on what their crime was. "Sex Offender" is such a broad, vague term that covers about 97 different types of crimes of every degree. So I'd need more information.

Remember that one teacher from back in the early 2000's that had sex with her 13 year old student, went to jail, got probation, had sex with him again, got pregnant, went to prison, got out, then married him and are now living happily ever after? She is a registered sex offender and I'm pretty sure she has custody of the kids she had with him.

Yeah, not all 'sex offenders' are child molestors or pedophiles.
