They were common in the south when I was a kid (called butter beans and some were quite large). They're OK but I prefer black eyed or crowder peas.
Actually the only bean that I really like are black beans - sort of a Caribbean specialty.

Not much. One of my husband's favorite dishes is lima beans 'n' ham hocks, which I do not care for. But I don't hate it, either. So when he does cook it I eat a little bit and call it good.
