| I think a lot of people would agree that it's the absolute wrong measure to take, but do you think that a parent should have legal authority to send their gay kids to conversion therapy for the sake of promoting/instilling heterosexuality in the kid? | |

| No! But since conversion therapy is not a scientifically supportable practice and is condemned by professional psychiatrists and psychologists, it would fall under hokus pokus (otherwise called religion) and that is why parents retain a right to mess up their gay adolescent's head.
And I have seen beautiful gay youths get messed up by trying to convert and fit in with others' expectations in their limited community. | |
