Do you know anyone who presents themselves as compliant and conservative but when they're away from their daily environment will out drink, curse and bedhop with the worst of them?

Can't say that I do.

Now I do have a sister-in-law who is very straight-laced and judgmental, and she really shocked the whole family when she dumped her long-time abuse husband for his best friend (who happened to be married to her husband's sister!). That kept things interesting awhile. But, surprisingly, I did not judge her ~ I viewed it more as karma kicking her husband in the ass in due time. I appreciated that she had to experience how life can be imperfect in her world, and she became a happier person.

I have known them, yes.

Not really, no.

I have before, but can't say that any of them are still around me today.

Oh, yeah. In my home town in Northern Wisconsin, most of the congregations are that way. They looked down on my going to Sunday service alone, yet bellied up to the bar at noon.

Like it's been said already, I've known some before....
