Well, it's been a full month since Alan has been heard from on this board.
Guess it's just as well I didn't know his real name, maybe I'll convince myself it was just a fictitious person with a fictitious name and no big loss.
But, I came to know this Alan Smithee (literally a fictitious name in the movie industry). I just can't countenance that he would drop out like that with no goodbye unless something happened suddenly. (He would probably quip about the witness protection program shutting him down)
Guess some of us in this cyberworld would like some kind of closure. I have instructed my family that one of my grandsons will log on to all my sites and tell everybody that I won't be around any more when that becomes a reality.
I have had that happen with a cyberfriend whose sister logged onto his MySpace page and gave us updates on his near death condition. All of us, his cyberfamily appreciated that.
Wish Alan had given us a heads-up.
