3 Bankers covering for real Connecticut lottery winner? Empty 3 Bankers covering for real Connecticut lottery winner?

Powerball lottery winners from the November 2nd drawing are reportedly three bankers from Connecticut, but they could be covering for a client of theirs who actually won the $254 million jackpot. Gregg Skidmore, Brandon Lacoff, and Tim Davidson claimed the Powerball prize but it could be a cover up.

A friend of one of the wealth management bankers told ABC News that the men are claiming the prize to keep the real lottery winner anonymous. There was a pledge by the winners to donate a good portion of the money to charity, but the source claims that's not the intention whatsoever.

The winning Powerball ticket was bought at a BP Station on Shippan Point in Stamford, CT.

I think the bankers really won it. There is NO rule saying that you can't claim the money anonymously. I think they're just putting out that story to try and soften the fact that the bankers winning the jackpot is sickeningly ironic. Rich men win poor people's money. Not a good look.

I'll take it if they're that hesitant about claiming their winnings.

They probably don't want the short term "celebrity/notoriety" that comes with it.
