I don't & just don't need one. I can talk, text, check news & more importantly scores, check my email...so it's good without the added expense.

I have a blackberry, but its too much. Too many applications I don't use and don't know how to operate.

I have one, but the way it freezes, cuts itself on and off, and drops call....this shyt don't seem too smart.

I have one and it's cool. I heven't used the bells & whistles too much but texting is much easier even though I don't do a lot of it.

I have an EVO with Verizon service. This droid EVO is the biggest POS gadget I have ever used. I have to prctically beat the screen sometimes to get a response. I cannot easily switch from mute and back. It rings half the time. I even get messages 2-3 days later--but that is probably a VERIZON issue mor than the EVO (EVIL DROID)
When my contract is up next year, I am going to drive a 9 inch nail through the droid's heart and like MArtin Luther did post it on VERIZON'S front door.
My wife has the new GALAXY NEXUS 4 and it is great. The screen is biiger, more responsive and much more user friendly.

No. If my cell fone was smart it would figure out how to turn itself on and call for rescue from my backpack where it is carried around but seldom used.

That's how I feel about my phone. Folks just don't know how convenient it is and how much of a life saver it can be. Feel like going to the movies all of a sudden and need to know whether you can make the next show without spending the time to go up there? Look it up on your phone. Pay bills from your desk? Do it from your phone. Bored at work and need to play Words With Friends? Do it from your phone. Life isn't complete without a smartphone.

I guess it just depends on the features. My phone is listed under "basic" but it has a qwerty keyboard, I can access the internet, check scores, news, weather, gas prices, what's playing at the theater, GPS a location without the higher data package cost of a smartphone.

I don't have one, I don't have a cell phone either don't want one, don't need one. I see people here with cell phones stuck to their ears, honestly half the time I think they are trying to impress others with the fact that they have the cell since they raise their voices to make sure every one knows. I don't get that since even people on welfare here seem to have cell phones. I figure when I am out I don't want to be bothered with phone calls. If someone really wants to talk to me they can leave a message here at home or call back. When the kids were still at home I used to unplug the phone at times. My friends all knew I did that and they would say "But what if you miss a call?", that was the idea of unplugging the phone, the phone is there for my convenience only.

When I got my first fone in '67, I actually paid more for Ma Bell to install a switch to turn it off when I did not want to be disturbed. Ppl reacted the same way, but I was paying for a fone for my convenience.
