Im sure it does, I bet you need a nap now! It will die down but the baby will still wake up at 3am for his feeding

I'm counting on it. He was up this morning at 2:45 needing to be fed and changed. Afterwards, he wasn't interested in going back to sleep. And there was nothing on cable early this morning. His mother and I have unofficially decided that for the time being I would take the night shift, while she handles him during the day.

I'm off this week, so this is just an impromptu arrangement. Next week, I go back to work (but am only working three days, and two of them are half shifts) we will flip the script.
