Better in that I got my driver's license this year, also better that I've only been sick once this year, otherwise I wouldn't necessarily say better.

It was a lousy year saved by some good times.
Weather has been ultra-depressing, health has been the shits (no colds or illnesses, just "pain"), family from both sides have been a pain in the ass, and we've had to tighten our budgets more than I like.
But we had a great vacation last April and other good times. And so far the weather this holiday season has been so ultra-mild and I like it.

My sis died the first day of the year.
My new car got flooded, then my house was flooded, and the flood and earthquake loosened the tree which then landed on the house during a hurricane.
My fiance came home from Iraq only to not be able to handle life or a relationship.
Now my job is closing and i will be transferred to God knows where.
This is the worst year i have had in a really long time... glad for it to end!!!!

Beginning of the year started out pretty decent.

2011 has been a pretty solid year for me, I don't have many complaints about it. But, as I always am at this time of year, I am ready for it to be over and to get started on the next.
