    I like and appreciate them both. For my tree I vary them year by year. This year they're blue and white.

    Multi-colored are generally better, but a display of white lights can look good in the right setup.

    Just plain clear lights looks tacky on trees, color works best but the two also look good together.

    I agree with that. On a tree, multicolored lights is preferred, elsewhere I tend to prefer a solid color.

    I agree with this. I LOVE my multi-colored lights on the tree (not getting my way this year.... sad ), but white lights look good elsewhere. Sums it up. big grin

    I love multi colored on my tree, it looks so much better that way, but white around the house.

    I prefer an assortment of colors, but a friend of mine has his tree and window decorated in all white lights and it looks good. White lights can be gorgeous in the right setting and backdrop.
