| Multi-colored are generally better, but a display of white lights can look good in the right setup. | |

| Just plain clear lights looks tacky on trees, color works best but the two also look good together. | |

I agree with that. On a tree, multicolored lights is preferred, elsewhere I tend to prefer a solid color. | |

| I prefer an assortment of colors, but a friend of mine has his tree and window decorated in all white lights and it looks good. White lights can be gorgeous in the right setting and backdrop. | |
