| Because meat packers make the hot dogs and bakers make the buns. If Kraft Foods made hot dog buns, Oscar Mayer made hot dogs would probably fit them. Why aren't you worried why the dogs come 10 to a pack and buns come 8? | |

You are correct sir. There are exceptions to many "rules". The pack also weighs 1 lb which is apparently how the meat packing industry prefers to package their product because that size is easier to weigh, sell and store. But they also don't fit on a standard bun which goes back to Supernova's rant. | |

| Short wieners used to bother me--until I moved to NC where they have RED dogs...WTF is with a wiener being red? And it is SHORT, adding insult to injury! | |
