Does it matter what brand you're drinking?

Why Swiss Miss is more expensive than Nestle, I don't get, but Swiss Miss is the most common one we drink but Nestle is good too and there's nothing wrong with generic. But our neighbor kids insist they MUST have Swiss Miss because sabes que 'if it's not the blue box, it makes them sick'. what the fuck?!

I'll drink just about any kind of hot chocolate or cocoa, but don't have it often.

Same here, which is probably why I don't have a preference. I don't drink it often enough to have one.

I'm not sure I could actually tell the difference in a blind taste test. Swiss Miss does make one with double chocolate or something like that which is pretty good. But most of the time, not really.

There is a definite difference in hot chocolate. Swiss Miss tends to be a bit creamier than Nestle. Land O Lakes is somewhat thinner but it tastes really good. I have had some that were richer than others as well.
