Never tasted one I liked, bought or made. I remember making this "energy" concoction that involved eggs, bananas, lecitin, and I can't remember what else, and after about two weeks of it had to quit. I gagged with every swallow.

But, to be fair, it's been several years since I tried what's out there. Hopefully they have improved.

They're okay to have once in a great while, but they're nothing to get hooked on. Half the time they're nasty.

I only like blueberry or strawberry. Some people are serious about their protein shakes, but I can really take or leave them.

Oh yeah. Protein shakes are solely responsible for me starting to somewhat like bananas. Nothing better than some vanilla protein powder, half a cup of ice, half a cup of water, and half a banana blended together right after an intense weight lifting session. My body always feels so warm and tingly after, like Popeye LOL
