Do you think that countries that are ruled by a dictatorship are inherently bad or less desirable than those that are run by democracy?

Honestly, it depends on the dictator. People automatically think "dictator" is bad and view it negatively. A dictatorship just means total rule. Someone has total rule over something or someone. It doesn't inherently mean bad. Whether or not you want to comply is your decision. I'd rather live in a democracy though.

There is some real merit to NYStyle's comment. The ruler of Venezuela (Chavez) . . to me he's a nut-case and not a good representative for his people, but perhaps "they" like his socialist rulership, I don't know.
