It is ridiculous how expensive video gaming systems are

It is such a racket. My son really wants an Xbox for Christmas. He may have gotten one had he not acted so desperate about it. That just turned me off to the whole idea.

But it is such a racket. The system is a ton of cash, then all the stuff like an extra controller, the high priced games and now they have extra fees for some sort of online gaming thing.

I am really surprised at how high it all is in cost.

buy the games from toysrus with the warranty on the games. when the game "breaks" u can exchange it for a new game at no cost. the employees admit to using this.

I did not know Toys r Us offered such a thing. Very good to know as he will be saving to get an Xbox with his money. He makes a good amount when he it snows and he is off school. He helps his dad on his snow removal accounts.

XBox sucks anyway. Get him a PS3. Well actually, I've heard they made that system better...but still, get him a PS3.

He has friends with both and he says he doesn't like the PS3 nearly as much as he does the Xbox. I know he has told me why but I can't remember now. I know one thing he has said is that it costs more for the PS3's ability to play with people who are not actually at the house. I don't really understand how it all works and I am not even sure I would let him do that because I don't know how safe it is.

Agree with Nystyle....you can't go wrong with PS3. Nevermind all the others. They're fads.
