Previews for the week of 05-Jul-2010
BY CAROL BANKS WEBER
- Monday, post-Fourth of July: OLTL airs a May 24th rerun, where John stops Natalie from boarding a plane, Jessica announces to Brody that she remembers him and their love, and Ford receives critical care for his beatdown.
- Todd must decide whether Starr or Dani is to receive his aid first.
- Bullets fly. When the smoke clears, Bull and James are on the ground—one of them mortally wounded.
- James requires emergency services to his person in the aftermath of the Bull barnyard confrontation. Todd and Nate see to it that James is taken care of.
- Blair comes upon Tea lying in a dead faint and rushes her to the hospital immediately.
- Todd, Starr, Dani and the whole gang head to the hospital to check out the damage. There, they also learn from Blair about Tea’s having fainted and requiring immediate care (when Blair gets them up to speed). The fainting, reports Blair, is not a good sign.
- Blair swears she will do her utmost to take up any slack for Tea’s family.
- Tea delivers her critical condition to Dani. Dani runs from the terrible diagnosis, to a park to mull this over.
- Starr and Ford blast each other, as both are worried sick about James and his predicament. Starr would like to know why the hell Ford never bothered to stay back and take care of his little brother.
- The James situation draws Cole to the hospital and to Starr.
- Cole feels so glad nothing bad happened to Starr.
- Cole updates Starr about Hannah, validating Starr about being right.
- Starr receives the latest update on James, and as she reacts with concern, Cole sees that James may not just be an innocent new pal.
- David orders Matthew to not speak of ratting Nate out to Bull in the first place.
- Todd reports that he and Dani became more of a father/daughter because of this crisis, but that doesn’t mean he’s happy about the crisis.
- Todd bellows about Nate causing unnecessary danger for Dani.
- Dani steps up and assures Tea of her love and devotion through this sickness.
- Blair doesn’t jump at the chance to take her relationship with Eli to the next level, as he suggested. She finds herself wanting time. Kelly gives Blair a hard time about it.
- John escorts Hannah, with Cole, to the police for interrogation and processing.
- John should apprehend Cole, too, for not following his bail requirement. But John refrains, which earns him points with Marty.
- Hannah gets down to brass tacks with law enforcement.
- It’s a question as to whether Hannah’s useful to law enforcement in the identification of Marty’s perp.
- Hannah insists that she remains innocent of charges against her regarding Ford. Although, she does cop to making up the story that Todd shoved Marty down the stairs.
- Eli consents to be Hannah’s counsel.
- Ford’s been secretly harassed by Eli after all.
- For reasons that have yet to come out, Eli wants Ford to keep the spotlight on Hannah as his attacker.
- Eli runs Hannah through his lawyerly wringer, to privately ascertain if she witnessed the perps.
- Eli forces Hannah to shut up about whatever happened with Marty and Ford. (Poor Blair.)
- Jessica and Brody come out with it (her dallying with Ford, his dillying with Natalie). Well, at least Jess does, while Brody beats himself up about his secret with Nat. The difference is, Jess never went all the way.
- Brody makes a big show with Jess about making like it’s no biggie what she did with Ford (‘cause it was a biggie what he did with Nat).
- Charlie and Viki work on Dorian and David so they’ll get back together.
- Rex wastes Kelly’s (and our) time further by reporting absolutely nothing much on Bennett Thompson.
- Kelly gossips with Jessica about Todd kissing her that one, odd time. Kelly can’t seem to get Todd’s kiss out of her mind.
- Layla and Cristian manage to inform Layla’s mom (in Maryland) about their engagement status. Then, they have to deal with things turning worse for comatose Evangeline.
- Layla and Cris must hurry to be with Evangeline, who went from coma patient with a modicum of hope to a vegetable living off machines.
- Next week: Blair comes to a decision about what to do with Eli’s proposal… Todd does the knee and ring thing for Tea… Tea astounds Eli with her latest… Bo kicks David the hell out… Hannah flies over the cuckoo’s nest… John begins to look askance at Hannah… Cole sees how Hannah’s mustering… Viki and Charlie begin their push for David and Dorian to reunite… Dorian walks into a bedroom with David and Viki appearing very guilty… David’s muffins wind up poisoning Natalie and Jessica… It’s not looking good for Evangeline. Layla has to decide whether she’ll pull the plug or not… Langston falls back in infatuation with Ford… Markko must pull the plug on useless cause Langston, or die trying to win her back… Inez approaches, hat in hand, willing to right wrongs.
