Let's say you had a child (whose between the ages of six and twelve) from a previous relationship, would you allow your current spouse to discipline them and/or make parental decisions where they are concerned?

I see nothing wrong with it. I was disciplined by my stepdad, and I have family members in similar situations.

Yeah, I would for the most part. If it was fair and I agreed with it.

Where I come from, adults in general are authority figures to kids. So if I was married and had a child from a prior relationship, I can easily see my husband a disciplinarian to him or her, especially since it would probably be both of our house the child was living at.

I did. When we moved in together it was with intentions of sticking together for the long haul.
