What fast food chains do you see advertised on TV that are not in your area?

Burger King, we used to have one but it closed many years ago

I don't think there's a Popeye's or White Castle around here.

Oh yeah, I didn't even think of those. It's funny, I never hear of White Castle outside of the Beastie Boys.

Denny's is not around here and I have never seen a Sonic or Checkers either.

Dairy Queen (And I really like DQ so it pisses me off).
White Castle (Although it's not advertised in my area, I wish there was one).
Checkers (One of my FAVORITE fast food chains I have to go several hundred miles to get).

This brings up a good question. Why is it that certain fast food chains are only in specific regions of the country?

Everywhere: McDonald's; Burger King; Wendy's; Taco Bell; KFC; Popeyes; Arby's
East Coast: Hardees; Checkers; White Castle; Krystal; Church's; Five Guys
West Coast: Carl's Jr.; Rally's; Jack N the Box; In-and-Out Burger; Del Taco; Taco John's
Hit or Miss: Sonic, Dairy Queen, Nathans and Chick-fil-A. There seems to be one in every state, yet they are few and far between.

There no SONIC around here but I see those commercials all the time.

Not true, in Everywhere: we don't have Burger King, Wendy's Popeyes, Arby's or Taco Bell. The more I read through everyone's responses I find we don't have MOST of the chains: We have McDonald's Dairy Queen, KFC, Subway, Taco John's, and Sonic and that is it.

jack in the box (had the most awesome omelettes when i was a kid but closed down here)
arthur treachers - love their chips but they closed too
Chicken George - had the BEST chicken of ANY chicken chain
