I dreamt I was at my old elementary school, where some sort of Michael Jackson fan convention was happening. I step out for a while but when I step back in, there are hundreds....maybe thousands....of people sitting on the floor completely tranquil. They can talk, but seem physically unable to move, or at the very least have no desire to. It's like they have all been tranquilized, or programmed to not go anywhere. I realize that something is very wrong and literally run out of there. In what seems like slow motion, I'm running to get away from the scene, and with my phone in my hand I attempt to dial 9-1-1. As I leave, however, I notice one of the hosts (who is dressed in a Best Buy-like uniform; blue shirt/khaki pants) very casually walks out behind me and goes into a car....pulling out one of those super soakers that can hit a moving target from very far away. Just before he squirts me, I put 2 fingers together and it freezes time (like the girl from that old TV show Out of this World.) With that, I'm saved. The guy was unable to blast me with whatever it was that would have impeded me from getting away.

Then I wake up.

That dream seems "normal" compared to some of the dreams I've had. I've actually dreamt of wanting to go into a building engulfed in flames and my friend trying to stop me.

I have very crazy dreams like that all the time, always have. When I was a teenager, I had a dream that continued every night.. for like 2 months. I dreamt a family friend was trying to kill me and no one believed me nor helped me.

When I was involved with an alcoholic and he would start drinking again after long periods of sobriety, i would dream that jason voorhees was chasing me thru my mom's old house that I left when I was 19. Dont know why my mind picked jason, or my mom's house, but i knew what it meant. lol

Seriously. That was one of my more tame dreams. I've had dreams about hostage crisis and talking animals that represent people I know.

What's funny is I used to daydream in elementary school that the curtains for the stage in the cafeteria/auditorium would suddenly part during lunch and Michael Jackson would treat us to a surprise concert! Depending on where I sat, I would imagine the route I would take to get to the stage first!
