We go through more grape but if there aren't any seeds, I'm all for strawberry too.

Same here. In fact I always buy grape jam because tho not as pretty, it has a fuller grape flavor.

Jam actually has more pulp from the fruit, is not shiny or clear - that is why it tastes so much richer.

I've had both and I don't notice any difference EXCEPT that jam is easier to get out with a knife, as kids we had to dig the jelly out with a spoon it was not going to go anywhere.
