I guess it's ok... when I was growing up skinny jeans weren't popular, clothes were more baggier.

In the 80s we had "outfits" and everything was coordinated. Even the guys often wore dress pants/shoes and looked really put together. Take away the 10ft high hair, and we dressed much better in the 80s
