It really is. You have all this build up & then...bam, it's over. Bored & depressed right now too.

The day after Christmas does tend to feel lame.

Shale, I totally thought of you this morning as I was freezing my ass off riding in the snow with my son on our ATVs. Had I not gotten so cold, I was going to have my son take a pic of me holding a sign that said, "Merry Christmas Shale." Because you always share with us your sunny pics! But once we got back to the house, I was not going back out there as the wind really kicked up!

As for the OP, I agree. This morning was nice as my son and I did have a good morning riding together but now we are home and all of us are tired and crabby and I am so sore from riding so long. It is depressing to have it all over. On the bright side, we do get to do Christmas with my step daughter on Thursday. Then the damn tree can come down!

We've found little ways to help that. There's a Christmas movie that we intend to watch tonight, and we'll still go view Christmas lighting this week. I want to go to the Grotto in Portland on the 30th to see a local popular pianist and enjoy the incredible grounds. And there are left-overs a'plenty. Most of the big lighting attractions continue until New Year's, so there's no reason or need to do it all before Christmas Day.

Had some company the last two nights and found myself getting tired after about an hour of socializing. That part I am glad to be done with.

The day after is just another day.....like Christmas. I had a good time today.

Yeah, it can be depressing, but not nearly as bad as the day after the decs are down.
