| Okay, here's the scenario:
You are out of town for a relative's wedding that you simply MUST attend. Your aunt (uncle, cousin, godfather, whoever) has offered you a place to stay. You have accepted. You travelled there by train and therefore have no car to sleep in as an alternative. You have absolutely no money to stay in a hotel, and no one else to stay with. There isn't another place in the house for you to sleep on this night. Not even the bathtub is free. Your aunt leads you upstairs to your room and it has nothing in it but a small night table, a lamp and a coffin.
What do you do? | |

| Ought to ask--Have you slept in a coffin?
Long story--actually the details are incriminating--while ghost busting years ago we ended up with two coffins aka caskets--in the back of a Dodge Ram traveling down I-75 on a Sunday Afternoon...the rest is easy to figure out...

| Give me a pillow or two and I'll opt for the floor. I am claustrophobic to begin with, plus I need room to bend my knees when I sleep.
Let me, add, however, that I would never go out of town for a funeral without money. Because I do NOT like to sleep at other people's houses.

| Turn the lamp on, put the it on the night table, push the coffin outside the door & sleep on the floor. | |

| As long as I didn't have to close the lid, I would deal with it. | |

James Dean said the worst part about coffins is that when you close it, the lid smashes your nose.
