They are supposed to not be good for the toilet, eventually that Bloo builds up and will clog the holes that bring the water into the bowl.

Yes, but I hate the ones that you have to place in the tank. I use the ones that you hook onto the toilet rim and the cleaner "drips" while it's flushing. Those are getting harder to find ~ seems only the dollar stores carry them.

Never use them. Tho I like the color lesson when you mix two primaries yellow and blue and it turns to a secondary - green.

I always used them until we just had that water usage issue. When I found a plumber site that gave free advice, I found out they are bad for the rubber gaskets inside the tank. So, I won't be using them anymore.

that is what happened to my bro's toilet. He used ones from the dollar store, and after the 3rd one, the gasket had dissolved and water was everywhere!
